    Rare silver spoon with 1654 coin attached
    the spoon handle includes coin from the shipwreck, 'Vergulde Draeck', stamped 'STG SIL,' (length 19.5cm approx). The Dutch ship 'Vergulde Draeck,' ('Gilt Dragon,') struck a reef in 1656, and sank off the coast of West Australia near present day town of Geraldton, with the loss of 118 lives. The remains of the ship were finally discovered in April 1963.
