    The first image depicts two lovely young island girls (“Taken shortly after a garrison of Australian soldiers had landed there.”) The second image, shows “mamma” surrounded by “her little brood” and wearing an Australian flag and an Australian slouch hat (“It will be noticed that contact with Australian soldiers has influenced their culture.”), each approx. 23 x 29cm.
