  Full leather-bound presentation album titled in gilt to the front cover “To Her Most Gracious Majesty the Queen…
  .., from the Municipalities of the Colony of Victoria.” The title page, completed in manuscript, states “Presented to the Murchison Mechanics Institute by the Shire of Waranga as a memento of the 60th anniversary of her Majesty’s Reign - Diamond Jubilee 22nd June 1897” numbered “No.13” and signed by the President and Shire secretary, with the seal of the shire affixed. The following 23 pages accommodate photographs of a series of ornate illuminated presentations created to commemorate the occasion, each one signed and sealed by the various presidents and shire secretaries of Victoria, together with details of their sizes, populations and valuations. 30 x 25.5cm.
