  the upright back supports joined by horizontal simulated bamboo canes enclosing a frieze of prunus roundels, above leafy bamboo plants extending in pierced relief from the rectangular recessed solid seat within a mitred frame, the openwork bamboo apron joined to the slightly splayed legs with cross stretchers
