Notes:King Rudolf II (1552-1612) was Holy Roman Emperor (1576-1612) King of Hungary & Croatia (1572-1608), King of Bohemia (1575-1608/1611), Archduke of Austria (1576-1608), a member of the House of Hapsberg. Rudolf's legacy is traditionally viewed as an ineffectual ruler who's mistakes let to the Thirty Years' War, a great & influential patron of the Northern Mannerist Style of art & an intellectual devotee of occult arts & learning
