Lot Description:Large 18th Century French figure group
depicting Bacchus and his reveling band, each with grapevines in their hair and a drink in hand, one re-filling from the barrel Bacchus is seated on, modelled in the round on a rocky mountain, overgrown with fruiting vine, with a seated lady to the reverse holding pears. Attributed to Orleans, c.1765 -
