    Two Monks, Carved in the Same Posture Facing the Viewer & Seated Cross Legged on a Raised Pedestal, Burma, Mandalay Period, 19th C
    the young sincere face with pendulous ears resting on the shoulders, the right arm stretched out & the hand resting on the knee, the other arm deteriorated from the elbow, has original nails holding together, the hole in the centre of the head where a finial would have been.

    Condition: Being exposed to the elements has resulted in a rustic worn patina
