  An antique Chinese bronze wine jar ‘Hu’
  lidded ovoid form with relief geometric scroll panels and stylised mask forms, stylised dragon handles, flared base, the domed lid with pomegranate type finial, old dark patina. 135 x 70 x 178. A note included detailing Mr Rewi Alley’s inspection and significance of this piece. Ex. an old Auckland private collection, Arney Rd, Remuera.
