  Pair antique Ceylonese carved plantation chairs
  each with deeply carved decoration, upholstered with (later) removable cushions. The chairs bear the initials of William Augustus Sabonadiere. This gentleman was a coffee planter in Ceylon with his brother Francis. Francis wrote a coffee planters guide, which is still in publication. Height 100cm Width 55cm approx.
