  [Charles Cox & J. Effingham Wilson, London, 1851] 392pp, Octavo, frontispiece map, original crimson cloth with gilt title to (split) spine. Lacks pale yellow free front endpaper.
• Notes:
  Henry Melville (1799-1873) arrived in Hobart Town in late 1827 or early 1828. In March 1830 he bought the Colonial Times and later that year he printed and published Henry Savery's Quintus Servinton, the first Australian novel published in Australia. From 1833 to August 1834 he published the Hobart Town Magazine.
