  "now under Sentence of Transportation in Millbank Prison, he having been convicted of felony at Perth in April 1846..." is the beneficiary of this Conditional Pardon, granted and signed by Queen Victoria with her seal still intact. The pardon was issued "on condition that he be imprisoned and kept to hard labour in the Gaol of Dundee for Eighteen Calendar Months."
