    An unusual soapstone 'landscape' boulder, Qing dynasty, 19th century
    of irregular form, carved with figures beneath pine trees in a rocky and mountainous landscape with pavilions set on a high plateau and a small bridge crossing over a waterfall, the stone in tones of caramel colour used to highlight the carving, two seals to either side and the base incised with a dedication in black reading 'Yongzheng eighth year ninth month', fitted wood stand (2)
