  UNIVERSAL EXHIBITION, PARIS 1878 - Small oblong album
  with original blind blocked red cloth boards; gilt lettering and ornamentation [Nilsson, Paris, 1878] containing 18 albumen print photographs, each 66 x 101mm, mounted on think album leaves with gilt edges and printed captions. The images are all in fine condition but are detached from the boards.
• Notes:
  Among the views of the 1878 Exhibition is a rare in situ image of the Australian Hut; a replica of a settler’s log hut made expressly for the Colony of Victoria’s display. The album also contains views of the Chinese, Algerian, Dutch and other pavilions.
