    dated, inscribed and stamped verso; bears Alcoa Australia label verso: The 72-inch four-high cold mill installed at the Point Henry Works of Alcoa of Australia Proprietary Limited. This cold mill is used for final finish rolling of aluminium sheet which has been brought to the properthickness [sic] on equipment seen in the background. Two other major items of rolling equipment in the sheet mill are an 84-inch four-high reversing hot mill which breaks down aluminium rolling ingot into slab form, and a two-stand 72-inch four-high continuous hot mill which further reduces thickness of the metal by passing it through a series of precisely adjusted rolls. Aluminium sheet and plate produced on this equipment are used in building and construction, transportation, packaging and containers, household appliances and equipment, the electrical field and many other industries; bears artist’s studio stamp verso
