  bears Ford News Release label verso: April 22, 1970 / DOOR SLAM TEST / A photographic illusion makes the doors lock transparent as the complete door mechanism is subjected to life testing. / The door and its mechanical hardware are subjected to 80,000 opening and closing cycles as it is slammed with an energy of 10 ft. lb. each cycle. / The door, its hinges and its operating mechanism must pass the 80,000 cycles as well as ultimate strength tests to Australian Design Rules before they are approved as safety items and released for production.
