  Ellen Elisabeth Kirsten Wittrup was Helene Kirsova's name at birth, she changed her name when she began her career as a ballerina in the de Basel's Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. She toured Australia between 1936-1937. She married Erik Fischer in February of 1938 & had a son in 1939.
