Lot Description:A Tibetan bronze seated figure of a Geluapa Lama, possibly an incarnation of Tzongkhapa, circa 18th century
seated on a lotus throne with his right eye in the customary downcast position, while his left stares straight ahead as if blind, with a pronounced smile; a sword and book (pustaka) borne on a lotus flower to either of his shoulder Tzongkhapa - the founder of the Gelugpa, or reformed Yellow Hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism - himself an emanation of Manjusri, the god of wisdom
