Lot Description:A rectangular jade plaque, Qing dynasty
the front face delicately carved in low relief with a lake scene depicting a figure poling a sampan, his female companion gazing at lotus plants, beside a pair of ducks beneath overhanging trees and with distant mountains, all within the frame of entwined scrolls, the reverse undercut with a long inscription, the stone of pale even tone with very slight russet suffusions
