The shaft with engraved and inked depictions of wildlife, rising to a British armorial crest with the Latin motto 'Honit Soit Qui Mal y Pense' and 'Dieu et Mon Doit', beneath a representation of three uniformed soldiers, dated 1882 and monogrammed, 93cm long.
