  A Japanese Brass Striking Lantern Clock (Kake-Dokei) On Bracket
  Circa 1860, SIGNED The brass chapter ring engraved with Japanese characters revolving against a pierced steel hand, with a foliot escapement, flanked by hinged side doors with latches, beneath a domed bell, signed to the interior of the case; together with a red lacquered bracket, the clock 20cm high; the bracket 41cm high (lacking foliot weights and hood for bracket).
