  MAKER'S MARK WILLIAM EDWARDS, MELBOURNE, Circa 1870 The egg with frond and emu finial above supported horizontally by a standard of twin overlapping palm trees set upon a naturalistic surround with applied crocodile figure below, together with a glass dome and ebonised base, the mounted egg 23cm high.
