• Notes:
  General Ian Hamilton was appointed by Kitchener to take command of the Military Force being sent to the Dardanelles on the 12th of March 1915. This document is Hamilton’s order to start the landing on the 25th of April 1915. He wanted it read to all troops before the Gallipoli landing to inspire them. The ANZAC landed near Gaba Tepe (the site subsequently know as ANZAC Cove) at 4.30am on the 25th April 1915
