    A particularly heavy George II silver milk jug
    squat ovoid shape with plain loop handle and small spout with drop finial. Engraved with the coat-of-arms of Hodgson (per chevron, embattled or and azure, three martlets counter-changed), London 1731 by Thomas Mason (maker's mark faint). Height 100. 520gms.
