Lot Description:An Exceptional Pair of African Elephant Tusks, circa 1952
each tusk approximately 115cm long with a girth of 36cm, weights 5.2 & 6.5 kgs respectively. -
Provenance:A Prominent Melbourne Collector, originally mounted on an ebony stand (which has now decayed) with silver plaque ""THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF ERITREA JUDICIARY BRANCH ADVOCATES AND PLEADERS OF ERITREA 1952-1959"" (This plaque has been retained by the vendor)
