Lot Description:A rare Bretby Aulsebrook’s (N.Z.) biscuit plate
the oval plate with frilled rim in banded majolica glaze, red, tan and green, set with three biscuits with matt unglazed finish variously shaped and embossed ‘Aulsebrook’s Milk Arrowroot Christchurch’, ‘A. & Co. Superwine Ch Ch N.Z.)’, etc., impressed marks to base of plate. 250 x 210. -
