Lot Description:A Plank-Top Three Drawer Table, Ming Dynasty, 16th-17th Century And Later
the main frame in huanghuali, each drawer front finely carved with Imperial five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a flaming pearl, carve spandrels on the front and side legs, the timber of good light brown colour.
86 cm high, 150 cm wide, 54 cm deep -
Provenance:The Estate of Emilia Stella, Milan, Italy. The collection was formed by her great grandfather who was a diplomat in Peking and Shanghai between 1850-1870. The table was acquired during this period.
