  A mid-19thC chinoiserie black lacquer and gilded sewing box
  of elongated octagonal form, the exterior with figured panels and gardens within dragon and decorative borders, entirely decorated, the hinged lid enclosing a fitted interior with various removable lids and compartments containing a multitude of ivory and bone sewing implements, etc., a single drawer to the base containing further jade, bone and other items, raised on three carved and gilded dragon head feet, gilded swing handles to the sides. 380 x 265 x 165.
