Lot Description:POSTMARK ESSAY: "PALACE OF ENGINEERING" blueprint of the design proposal for a special datestamp
to be used during the Exhibition. This design was rejected in favour of a design featuring a more stylized lion and different configuration for the date information. The Palace of Engineering, which became the Palace of Housing & Transport for the 1925 Exhibition, was then the largest concrete building in the world. Rare. -
