Lot Description:PROMOTIONAL POSTCARDS: Postcards produced to promote the Australian Pavilion at the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition
State issues for Queensland with Green Borders, all different including "Barron Falls", "Pearling Fleet, Thursday Island", "Queen Street..." (Trams), "Sheep yarded for shearing", "Stacking wheat at Goomburra", "Travelling Threshing Plant, Yangan... & "Whitsunday Passage", and very scarce multicoloured types "Loading Bananas, Johnstone River" and "Roma Grapes", the last used in America in 1917, the others are fine to very fine unused. One of the best such selections we have seen. (19 items) -
