  PROGRAMME: Printed programme (8 pp) in pink cover
  prepared for a performance of Mendelssohn's Oratorio "Elijah" by The Centennial Choir and Orchestra [The Centennial Printing and Publishing Co., 1888]; together with Exhibition engravings (3) including one from the official Catalogue by Ferguson & Mitchell. Good condition. (4 items).
• Notes:
  The Centennial Choir comprised of 223 sopranos, 192 altos, 146 tenors, 147 basses for a total of 708 participants. In all, there were 263 orchestral, grand choral and other concerts performed. The choir performed each weekday at 2pm and 8pm. As a reward for their services the choristers were accorded free passes into the CIE at all times.
