  with a fine strike of the 'PORT DARWIN NT/DE3/88/S.A.' squared-circle datestamp & a superlative strike of the very rare boxed 'PAID' handstamp used at Port Darwin (the only example recorded).

  A wonderful Northern Territory cover, being the only 19th century item known to us with the postage paid in cash.
