  BRITISH COURT OFFICIAL ENVELOPE: 1855 (June 1) OHMS envelope with 'Paris Universal/Exhibition of 1855'
  imprint at lower-left & large-part 'UNIVERSAL EXHIBITION/[crown]/BOARD OF TRADE/...' embossing in red on the flap, to "Victoria College/Jersey" with French Imperf 40c orange (margins just clear to large with a fragment of the adjoining unit at left) tied by a large cancel of dots & 'PARIS/I/JUIN/55' cds alongside, London transit cds of the next day on the face & 'JERSEY/JU5/1855' arrival b/s, fine & attractive. A most unusual foreign usage of a British OHMS envelope.
