Lot Description:An Archaistic Jade Libation Vessel, Qing Dynasty
of oval section with steep sides rising to the shaped mouth forming a slightly raised spout at one end, set below the rim with a mask and loose ring handle, the sides carved in low relief with a frieze of taotie between bands of stiff leaves, the celadon stone with paler mottling and some dark flecks, wood stand (2)
