Lot Description:A celadon-glazed ewer probably Ming dynasty
the pear-shaped body springing from a short foot and tapering to the narrow mouth, the sides set with a slender upright spout opposite the strap handle, and carved with a frieze of lotus sprays above a band of upright petals, all beneath the sea-green glaze falling short of the foot ring burnt orange in the firing
