Lot Description:A Leather Bound Album Belonging To Jessie Clarke OAM
a personal collection of late 19th century / early 20th century postcards and photographs belonging to Jessie Clarke the grand daughter of Alfred Deakin (Australia's second Prime Minister). Jessie Clarke was the owner of the Album however it was Jessie Strong who put the album together. -
Notes:Jessie Clarke worked as a voluntary social worker, President of the Victorian International Refugee Emergency Council and many causes involved with social issues concerning women and their families . She also was the founder of "Nappy Wash"
