  A multiple boxed set of bespoke engraved Chinese mother-of-pearl gaming counters
  housed in a square lidded box holding five further boxes, each gold lacquered and monogrammed ‘FS’ to the lids, containing approximately 310 various oblong and circular counters, each engraved with florals and a conforming monogram. The outer box with some faults. 290 x 270 x 60.

  This lot is offered on behalf of our vendor who received them as part of his family’s estate dispersal made in 1969 in England. The pieces are listed in a typescript appraisal of the time along with a broad collection of Oriental Objects
