  RACING COLOURS: Purple, White Maltese Cross, Red cap
  As worn by Foxzami to win the 1949 Melbourne Cup.
• Provenance:
  Originally owned by L.G.Robinson of Lord Howe Island, on his death the colours were obtained by the Cosgrove family, who have now had them for 60 years.
• Notes:
  What is being auctioned is a right: the right to register the colours in NSW for use on the racecourse. The colours will be transferred to the new owner, who will be forwarded a renewal notice by Racing NSW when they next become due.
