12” single edged blade with various shaped grooves & notches to back edge & bottom of ricasso; 2 ivory circles inlaid to each side of blade; oval gilt, brass cross piece with scalloped edges; silver ferrule with lion motifs; beautiful carved ivory handle with lion’s head pommel; complete with brown leather scabbard with plated mounts. C.1860. -
