  16G & 55 Cal; 28" barrels; f. bores; by K.STIEGELE. N. MUNICHEN engraved in silver to top rib; fitted with dovetail, ramp front sight & fixed notch rear sight; beautiful game scene relief engraved locks & hammers with centrifugal safety locks; spur trigger engraved in the same manner; profusely inlay floral patterns to barrel tang & butt tang; g. profiles, sharp & clear engraving; soft untouched grey patina; with traditional carved wooden extension to the t/guard; beautiful stock with finely chequered wrist; sliding cap box with shell pattern carving & fine chequering, lhs of stock has raised cheek piece with deeply carved hunting scene of hunter, hound & deer; all complete with correct type r.rod. A superb early cape gun. C.1850's.
