  650 Cal; 23½" oct barrel with swamped muzzle & beautiful raised damascus pattern, secured by 2 ornate foliate engraved brass bands; exc lock mechanism with sml areas of foliate panels & engraving; sharp profiles & clear markings; beautiful soft aged greyish patina to barrel, lock & fittings; beautiful stock profusely inlaid with ivory, jade & brass studs in geometric patterns; forend inlaid with brass studs, sml areas of ivory inlay & 2 fine hairline cracks; 98% inlay intact & executed in beautiful, traditional Ottoman patterns; horn forend cap also inlaid; all complete including r.rod & orig leather sling in need of repair; exc cond o/a. A scarce item for the Islamic collector. C.1798.
