  54 bore; 5 shot cylinder; 152mm (6") oct barrel; top flat has an unusual slot milled into it just over the nipple area, approx ⅜" in length; plain borderline engraved frame, lhs frame & loading lever marked TRANTER'S PATENT; s/n to rhs of frame; g. profiles & clear markings; patchy grey patina to barrel, cylinder & frame; rhs of frame fitted with a safety catch to cylinder; all complete with a pr of chequered walnut grips; gwo & cond.
