  36 Cal; 5 shot cylinder; 165mm (6½") rnd barrel with one line New York address to top; Colt's patent to lhs of frame & London proofs struck to lhs of barrel lug; 85% orig silver plate finish to brass back strap & t/guard; sharp profiles & clear markings; 80% orig blue finish to barrel; case hardened colours to lever & frame; exc walnut grips retaining 70% orig varnish; all complete; gwo & exc cond. Presented in an orig Colt London oak case with orig Colt Patent trade label & directions for loading Colt pistols; partitioned & lined in green baize, possibly re-lined; with orig Colt pocket Dixon flask, 36 P mould, pewter oil bottle, reproduction cleaning rod & Eley cap tin. A vg presentation. C.1863.
