  vg 28" straight blade; WD á & inspection marks to ricasso; obverse side Inspection stamps & issue date of 1890; blk paint finish to sheet steel guard with turned over edges, wearing a little bit thin, vg on the inside; ribbed cast iron grip with blk paint finish; all complete with correct brass mounted leather scabbard with vg tight stitching; an exc example of these early boarding cutlasses.
