    exc 34½" curved blade with spear point, pipe back & beautiful damascus finish; top edge of blade, near ricasso marked BY M.NEUMANN BERLIN & HOFLIEFERNT (supplier to the court); beautifully cast brass hilt with stirrup guard inset with crest of King of Saxony; crossed lancers on languets; elaborate lion's head pommel with red jewelled eyes; v. ornate cross pc; hilt & guard retain 95% orig gilt finish; blk fish skin grips bound with woven silver wire; all complete with correct steel scabbard; exc cond. C.1890.
