  33" straight blade with 6" to 8" of dark stains, the balance f to g cond; single fullers; sml amount of acanthus decoration to one side; ROYAL CYPHER over VMR (Victorian Mounted Rifles); ricasso marked HENRY WILKINSON PALL MALL LONDON; War Dept & á also; obverse side has issue date of 9th month 1892; sheet steel guard with turned over edges, War Dept stamped also; ROYAL CYPHER & VMR impressed into the guard & showing a bit of wear; vg orig hard pressed rubber grips; complete with correct type brass mounted leather scabbard, missing the bottom chape & white buff leather sword knot; o/a f to g cond.
