  Australian Colonial Issue 1827 Patt Rifle Regt Sword
  32" slightly curved blade with 85% orig polish remaining & a few minor imperfections; beautifully etched blade with acanthus leaves VR ROYAL CYPHER & strung bugle to one side & HENRY WILKINSON PALL MALL LONDON at the ricasso; obverse side has acanthus leaves, ROYAL CYPHER, ADVANCE AUSTRALIA crest & AUT PACE AUT BELLO VICTORIA within a panel underneath; Wilkinson's number 17405 to top of blade edge; steel guard inset with strung bugle & Victorian Volunteer R.44 stamp at the inside of the guard; fitted with g. fish skin grips & bound with g. silver wire; complete with correct steel scabbard with matching no. to the sword; all complete. A vg item for the Colonial collector. L/R
