  45 Cal; 44" heavy oct barrel; sparsely engraved with foliate panels & marked I.W. ASTON WARRENTED; German silver blade front sight & fixed buck horn style rear sight; fitted with single set trigger & mellow finish to traditional style brass t/guard, butt plate & fancy patch box; slight wear to profiles o/a; pitting around bolster; dark grey patina to barrel, lock, hammer & tang; g. full stock with minor bruising & scratches; all complete with contemporary style wooden rod; gwo. C. 1840's.
