  the wood resembling huanghuali, each of rectangular form, the hinged canted cover with metal ruyi-head clasp and corner mounts, lifting to reveal a shallow compartment over a pair of panelled doors flush within mitred frames set with metal mounts and hinges, opening to a pair of short drawers above a long drawer each with metal pulls, the sides set with bail handles, all raised on a conforming base with corner mounts
