  or, figures and descriptions of the living species of all classes of the Victorian indigenous animals. Two volumes, large octavo, with 199 lithographed plates (one folding), most coloured, bound from the parts in old binder’s cloth (a little shaken), with the parts titles and preliminaries bound in at the end of each volume. Melbourne, John Ferres, Government Printer, 1875 – 1888. Scarce: finely illustrated and scholarly. Not in Ferguson; Casey Wood, 456.
