    who lost their ship while in a boat at sea, and surrendered themselves up to the Malays in the Island of Celebes. Octavo, with a plate and folding map, foxing, uncut in original boards, later respined. London, J. Johnson, 1804.

    First edition: very scarce. Woodard’s narrative of his shipwreck and capture by the Malays. An appendix includes accounts of other shipwrecks and maritime misadventure, as a warning to mariners, including the Bounty mutiny, the Antelope and Pandora wrecks, and the frightening experiences of the crew of the Shah Hormazier in Torres Strait.
